Power Couple

Most people don’t know what a power couple is but the answer is hidden in plan sight. It’s a coup! A taking of power. Welding great powers.

Like Jesus and Mary Magdelene.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. — Matthew 18:20

Power couple means just that. A couple who are blessed with the power of the Divine Creator. Not every couple is a power couple.

In fact, very few couples are power couples. A power couple is a couple that joins forces for the good of all mankind. They are selfless not selfish.

So a power couple is not out to “get the bag.”

“I got mine, go get yours.”

“We rich b%*&.”

You will not hear this come from a power couple. Power couples are philanthropic in nature. Power couples are also teachers.

They have both endured the dark knight of the soul and given up their worldly possessions. They are both committed to a mission and vision that is bigger than either could do on their own.

Both are healed and healthy — mentally, physically, and spiritually. Neither are codependent. They don’t use each other as a trophy. They both can stand alone on their own. They are whole and complete.

The biggest issue facing couples is that men gravitate to trophies — women with little to no substance. Empty vessels that only do what they are told. They are a step up from a well trained dog. They look good and that’s about it. In exchange they get money for doing what they are told. Smile, look pretty, and don’t talk. Keeping up appearances gets old after a while. Eventually the masks will fall and they will have wasted their time. Once the mask is dropped there is nothing they can do to put it back on.

You can’t build a power couple with a trophy wife. In order to be a power couple, the woman has to have strong opinions, determination, and an independent passion for the mission. She has to be powerful in her own rite. She must adhere to the Divine Creator and never agree with her partner unless it is absolutely necessary.
